What’s On at a glance

Thame Players next production is 'Dancing at Lughnasa' by Brian Friel from 6th-10th March. Meanwhile, we host the following productions:

8th January at 7.45pm: The Trials of Galileo,  a one-man play celebrating the 400th anniversary of Galileo’s discoveries and exploring the tensions between science and religion starring Tim Hardy.

Saturday 21st January at 8pm: Thamecinema4all presents  The Guard starring Brendan Gleeson and Don Cheadle.

Saturday 28th January at 8pm: Thamecinema4all presents Golden Globe Winner  A Separation  A powerful, complex Iranian drama that centres on a conflict that cuts across boundaries of gender and class.

Sunday 29th January at 2.30pm: National Clown Theatre. Slapstick fun with traditional clowning, balancing, prizes and surprises.

Sunday 29th January at 8pm: Bruce Alexander and Adrian Thompson in Thoughts in Cold Storage. An evening of words and music devised and presented by Patrick Collins in support of Amnesty International.

Sunday 5th February  at 7.45pm: An Audience with Josephine Tewson, perhaps best known for her roles as Elizabeth in Keeping Up Appearances and as Miss Davenport in Last of the Summer Wine.

     

Friday 10th February at 7.45pm: Magic Thamed Revisited.  The return of fantastic magicians Young & Strange. Sure to be another sell-out.

Saturday 11th February at 8pm: Thamecinema4all presents  Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy Starring Gary Oldman, Colin Firth and Tom Hardy.

Sunday 12th February at 7.45pm: An Audience with Henry Blofeld, a must for all cricket fans.

6th– 10th March at 7.45pm: Thame Players presents Dancing at Lughnasa, an award-winning play by Brian Friel.

Saturday 17th March at 7.45pm: An Evening with Jess Conrad.  The 60's icon sings and talks his way through the highlights of his sparkling career.

Friday 23rd March at 7.45pm: A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare, presented by RumDoxy Theatre Company.

Advance Notice: 8th-12th May at 7.45pm: Thame Players presents Present Laughter by Noel Coward.
